Emergency Closet

When children are removed from their homes and placed into DCS custody/foster homes, they often have little to nothing in the way of clothing and hygiene items. NAZCA aims to have a fully stocked closet of emergency essentials that foster parents and DCS can draw upon when a child is in need of clothing, bedding, or hygiene items. These items will allow children coming into care to feel comfortable and confident during this time of transition.

We are currently accepting the following donations to stock our emergency closet:

  • Gently used or new clothing items (basic shirts, jackets, pants, leggings, basketball shorts, sweatpants, shoes, socks, flip flops, NEW underwear and bras) for all sizes, preemie to teen/XL sizing.

  • Diapers, wipes, baby bottles, formula, baby food, pacifiers, teething toys, swaddles, blankets, and other baby items.
